Jackson County Hospital District Winter Weather Updates: Closures, Delays, and Business as Usual
Winter weather can be unpredictable, but our commitment to caring for our community never changes. Below is what patients and visitors can expect when snow, ice, or severe cold impacts our area.
Hospital Operations: Always Open for Care
Our hospital remains open 24/7 to provide emergency and inpatient care, regardless of weather conditions. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please seek care immediately or call 911.Essential services continue as scheduled whenever it is safe to do so, and our clinical teams plan ahead to ensure patient care is uninterrupted.
Clinic Closures or Delayed Openings
During severe winter weather, some outpatient clinics or services may:Both the Edna and Ganado clinics will have a delayed opening on Monday. Doors at both locations will open at 10 am on January 26.
Physical Therapy will also delay their opening time on Monday, January 26, to 10:00 am. Patients will be called to reschedule.

Emergency Medical Services
Jackson County EMS will continue to run at 100% capacity through the cold weather event. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we may experience transport delays due to icy road conditions that will cause us to drive more slowly. Out of an abundance of caution, bypassing local hospitals during any weather-related event may be restricted to ensure our availability to serve our local residents.
