Jackson County Hospital District Approve Emergency Air Medical Membership Agreement with PHI Cares


JACKSON COUNTY, TX – The Jackson County Hospital District has officially approved a significant emergency air medical transportation agreement with PHI Cares, a division of PHI Air Medical. This partnership ensures air medical transport benefits for all residents within Jackson County, Texas.

The agreement, effective from April 1, 2024, to March 31, 2025, stipulates that residents transported by a PHI Air Medical aircraft from Jackson County, or its adjacent counties will incur no additional out-of-pocket expenses.

Key Benefits and Enrollment Details:

No extra costs for emergency air medical transportation under PHI Cares membership when transported within the specified coverage area.

In emergencies, residents should first contact 911, then inform PHI Cares at 1-888-I-Fly-PHI (1-888-435-9744) with membership number #26034 and transport details. Residents are encouraged to pick up their membership card at the designated distribution location.

Jackson County residents are exclusively offered the opportunity to upgrade their PHI Cares Membership to National Household Coverage for 1, 3, or 5 years at a special annual rate of $30 per household. To obtain this upgraded membership, residents can call 1-855-455-9976 or visit www.phicares.com and use the discount code JACKSONUPGRADE.
