Save the Date for a Day of Wellness at the
Jackson County Health and Safety Expo 2024

EDNA,TX: Mark your calendars for a day dedicated to your well-being on April 3rd! Jackson County Hospital District (JCHD) is excited to announce the return of the Jackson County Health and Safety Expo on April 3, 2024, at the Jackson County Services Building Auditorium.

The Jackson County Health & Safety Expo returns on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, from 10 am to 2 pm.
The event is focused on education, both in health education and safety education, and is relevant information for all ages. Lance Smiga, CEO for Jackson County Hospital District, expresses his enthusiasm, stating, “We are proud to bring this event back to Jackson County and provide this service to the community. It takes quite a bit of coordination and time for our staff, but we see it as a great opportunity
to give back to the community and help them be proactive with their health.”

At the expo, attendees can explore numerous vendor booths and connect with local area agencies committed to health and safety. The event will feature special guest speakers, health and safety experts from around the region, and lunch for all attendees. A highlight of the day is a special
bingo session tailored for area senior citizens. Held
from noon to 2 pm, this breakout bingo session, sponsored by Southbrooke Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation, offers 10 games with incredible prizes.

Businesses looking to participate and showcase their educational offerings can reserve booth space. Donna Coleman, the contact person, can be reached at dcoleman@jchd.org. Booths are available at no charge; vendors are simply asked to bring a door gift and a bingo prize.
