Mammograpy Services at Jackson County Hospital DistrictExperience the best in patient care, as well superior comfort, with Jackson County Hospital's Radiology department.
Our hospital offers Bella Blankets® which are disposable protective coverlets that are used during your mammogram to remove the chill and provide you with added protection and peace of mind during the scan.
The Bella Blankets are completely invisible to x-rays and gives the radiologists superior images. The end result is our patients are able to feel more at ease as the surface is now warm and fuzzy thanks to the Bella Blanket and helps to hold the breast in place for a more accurate state-of-the-art scan and better early detection.
Bella Blankets are designed to protect the most delicate skin. Patients such as the elderly with thin skin, women who have had surgery in this area or those who require a second image will especially benefit from these coverlets. Our patients' comfort is one of our top priorities, so we are pleased to offer this for a more relaxing experience.
"When I perform a mammogram, I am given a chance to save a person's life. It's important to provide the best images to the radiologist. Using the Bella Blanket helps provide optimal imaging to benefit the patient."
