JACKSON HEALTHCARE CENTER Established in 1973, Jackson HealthCare Center has served the healthcare needs of Jackson County and the surrounding area for over 34 years. The hospital is a critical access hospital (CAH) and is designated a Level IV Trauma Center.
In response to the ever-changing health care environment, we continue to add new services. Jackson HealthCare Center has transcended from a purely in-patient facility to a facility with many outpatient services as well as inpatient care. Jackson HealthCare Center prides itself on the ability to effectively communicate with doctors and perform medical tests as ordered, regardless of whether a doctor is located in an office next door or many miles away. Many of our patients see doctors out of the immediate area, but prefer to come home to Jackson County for tests performed on an outpatient basis. We encourage community residents to let their doctors know they prefer to have outpatient testing performed at Jackson HealthCare Center so they can remain close to home, family, friends, and neighbors.
How to find us - We are located at 1013 South Wells Street, Edna, Texas. Traveling on Hwy. 59, take the Hwy. 111 exit. Travel south on Hwy. 111 (or Wells Street as it is called within town). We are approximately 1.5 miles south of the intersection of Main Street and Wells Street, located on the right when traveling south.
Please take a few minutes to browse through your hospital by clicking on the above topics - you can see some familiar faces, view the facilities, and learn more about services offered.
